Beauty Box: Ipsy May 2014

ipsy May 2014 Glam Bag

My ipsy May 2014 Glam Bag.
Fresh Picks.

1. Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF 50
Nothing better than Sunscreen for Spring/Summer.

2. Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo
The color isn’t unique. I prefer the other color they have.
The purple color has a satin finish.
The white color has a gold sheen to it, but it is quite chunky and glittery.

3. Avene Thermal Spring Water
It’s quite popular in Thailand. I heard a lot of good things and wanted to try this for a long time.
Funny that some people here call it “water in the can” and be unhappy.
I love any type of spray products like this one that I can just spray it on my face and feel refreshed because I have dry skin.

4. Balanced Guru No Frizz Organic Sesame and Lemongrass Balancing Oil

I like to try a different oil, but the lemongrass smell reminds me the mosquito spray.

5. Boo-Boo Cover-Up Medium Shade
It’s lighter than my skin but really creamy and feels nice on my skin.
It has a nice coverage, not a full coverage but it does not look cakey.

They said it’s Concealer on the package, but it’s actually like the bandage or an ointment for the body.
Quite an innovation, but I wonder how many people think it’s just a concealer and use it on their face.

It’s scary when ipsy sent some product samples without instruction.
You have to go check on their website for yourself.

This month’s bag is just OK for me.
People said it’s just $10 but every box out there has a high value as well.
And it doesn’t mean you can’t complain about what you get just because it’s cheap.

Join me on ipsy and subscribe to the Glam Bag!
You get 4-5 beauty products every month delivered to your door, for just $10.
